In short: Daily reading and weekly vocabulary don't need to be added every time. Turn on Repeat, and the homework creates itself – on fixed weekdays or before every lesson in the subject.
Two kinds of repetition
- On weekdays: the homework appears on the days you choose – e.g. “Read 20 min” Monday to Friday.
- Before every … lesson: the homework appears before every lesson in the subject according to the school schedule – e.g. vocabulary before every German lesson. This needs an active school schedule.
How to create repeating homework
- Tap New homework
Under Homework. Parents choose the person under Who.
- Choose subject and type
E.g. English and Reading.
- Turn on Repeat
The switch is just below the types.
- Choose a rule
On weekdays – and tap the days to include – or Before every … lesson.
- Choose Time each time
E.g. 20 min. The description is optional.
- Tap Add
The homework for the next 14 days is created straight away.

How it works afterwards
Every night Morgenrutine creates the homework 14 days ahead, so the next two weeks are always ready. It appears in the list like any other homework, can be ticked off and earns points. If the person has a homework slot, it's included in the homework plan.
A single day can be edited or deleted like ordinary homework – that doesn't change the repetition.
See and stop repetitions
Go to Settings → Homework. Under Repeating homework you'll see the person's repetitions with subject, rule and time. Tap the bin to stop a repetition. Homework that has already been created stays, so you can delete it one by one.

Good advice
- Use short, fixed amounts. “Read 20 min” is easier to say yes to than “Read chapters 3–5”.
- Before every lesson suits vocabulary and preparation, because the homework moves with the schedule.
