Built by a family who needed it themselves
Morgenrutine started as a solution to our own mornings. Four kids, two working adults, and a week that could never quite fit inside anyone’s head.
“We believe in better mornings for families with children when we follow the same routines — together.”
Jakob KvistFounder, Morgenrutine
It started with a note on the fridge
It worked. The kids could see for themselves what needed to happen, and we stopped repeating ourselves every morning. The problem was everything else: practice times, driving, homework, appointments, and who was picking up whom.
The note couldn’t hold a whole week. Two calendars and one memory couldn’t either. So we built what we were missing: a place where the routines and the whole week’s logistics live together — and where the kids can follow along themselves.
Today, Morgenrutine is used by families with children who feel the same way. We’re still developing it based on our own everyday life and the emails we get from other parents.

Three things guide what we build
Familiarity creates calm
Children thrive when they know what’s happening. It’s not control — it’s security. That’s why everything in the app is built on repetition.
The whole family, not just mom
Planning shouldn’t rest on one adult. When everyone sees the same week, the responsibility gets shared.
Fewer features, used more
We only add what we actually use in our own everyday life. An app full of options nobody opens helps no one.
