Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information Morgenrutine collects about you and your family, what it’s used for, and what rights you have.

This page is a translation of the Danish privacy policy. In case of any discrepancy between this translation and the original, the Danish version at morgenrutine.dk/privatliv/ governs.

1. Data controller

Jakob Kvist Softwareudvikling, company registration no. (CVR) DK43534929, is the data controller for the processing of personal data in connection with Morgenrutine. You can contact us at support@morgenrutine.dk.

2. What information do we process?

  • Account details — name and email of the adult who creates the account.
  • Family members — names of the people added as group members. We don’t collect birth dates.
  • Content you create — routines, activities, appointments, chores, homework, timetable, and notes.
  • Payment details — for subscriptions taken out via the web app, payment is handled by Stripe; we don’t store card numbers. For subscriptions taken out via the iOS app, payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store, and we don’t receive any payment information.
  • Technical information — device type, browser, and log data for operations and troubleshooting.
  • Statistics (with consent only) — visit data from Google Analytics, see section 5.

3. Information about children

You must be of legal age to create a Morgenrutine account. The account is created and administered by an adult, who adds the family’s children as members. Children can have their own login to view and use their own routines and plans, but it’s the adult account owner who creates and controls that access. Children’s information is used only to show their own routines and plans, and is never used for marketing or shared with third parties for that purpose.

4. Purpose and legal basis

  • Delivering the service (account, family members, content, payment) — processed to perform our contract with you, per GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
  • Operations, security, and troubleshooting (technical information, log data) — processed based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and functioning, per GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
  • Statistics (Google Analytics) — processed only based on your consent, per GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Sharing with third parties

We never sell or share your information for marketing purposes. The following data processors are involved in running the service:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting, database, and operation of support@morgenrutine.dk. All data is stored within the EU/EEA, so hosting doesn’t involve any transfer outside the EU.
  • Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions taken out via the web app. Stripe receives the information needed to complete the payment; we don’t store card numbers.
  • Apple — for subscriptions taken out via the iOS app, Apple handles the entire payment through the App Store. We don’t receive any payment information from Apple.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland/Google LLC) — used only if you consent to statistics cookies. This may involve a transfer of information to the US, covered by Google’s own standard contractual clauses. You can read more about our use of cookies on the cookies page.

6. Retention period

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you close your account, we delete your information.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of your information:

  • The right to access the information we process about you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate information.
  • The right to delete your account and your data — see Delete your account.
  • The right to data portability — an export of your content.
  • The right to withdraw consent and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Danish Data Protection Agency), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk.

8. Security

All communication between you, the web app, the iOS app, and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We follow the GDPR’s rules on handling security breaches, including notifying the relevant data protection authority within 72 hours if a breach poses a risk to your rights.

9. Changes to this policy

Significant changes to this policy are announced in the app. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.
