Connect Apple TV

Pair a fixed Apple TV with your family group, and get the family's day plan read-only on the screen.

iOS appUpdated September 15, 2026

In short: open the Morgenrutine app on Apple TV to see a 6-digit code, and enter it under Settings in the iOS app to complete pairing.

Before you start

The feature requires a fixed Apple TV and the iOS app — it isn't available in the web app. No Pro subscription is required: every user has their own group from creation, whatever the plan, so TV pairing also works on a free account.

Step by step

  1. Open Morgenrutine on Apple TV

The app shows a 6-digit pairing code on the screen.

  2. Go to Settings in the iOS app

Find the “Apple TV” section under the group part of the page.

  3. Enter the code and tap “Pair device”

The Apple TV now has access to show the group's day plan.

Good advice

  • Place the screen somewhere the family naturally passes in the morning. That's where it does the most good.
  • The screen is read-only. Editing routines still happens from the web app or the iOS app.
  • You can pair several devices. Manage or remove them from the same place in the iOS app's group settings.

If pairing doesn't work

Check these three things in order:

  1. Is the code entered while it's still showing on the Apple TV screen?
  2. Are you logged into the iOS app with the user that should own the connection?
  3. Does the Apple TV have an internet connection?

If it still doesn't work, write to us.
