See the day overview

Doing shows the active routine, one step at a time — what the family actually uses in the moment.

Web appiOS appUpdated September 15, 2026

In short: open Doing to automatically see today's active routine — check off activities as they're done, and the next step shows up on its own.

Before you start

Doing needs no setup of its own — the page automatically builds on the routines, chores, driving trips, and sleep settings you've already created. The more you've set up elsewhere, the more the Doing page shows.

Step by step

  1. Open Doing

You automatically see today's active routine — the one that's “in progress”, or otherwise the first one of the day.

  2. Check off activities

The progress ring and percentage update right away.

  3. Use “Mark routine as done” if needed

If everything's really been done, but you want to mark it quickly without checking off each activity.

  4. See the rest of the day (web app)

Tap the sleep pill or the category pill to see sleep and today's time breakdown, and see any driving trip right under the routine card.

What it looks like on iOS

The core function — seeing and checking off today's routine — is the same as on web. iOS currently only shows the current day, without the web app's date navigation, driving section, and sleep/category overview.

Good advice

  • Let the youngest use the Doing page on their own. It only shows one step at a time, so it doesn't get overwhelming.
  • Completed chores don't disappear. They're collected in their own “done today” section.
  • Use date browsing (web app) to prepare tomorrow the night before. Without leaving the day overview.
