In short: go to Settings → Chores & Pocket Money to set a base amount per child, and use the Pocket money page to follow the balance, approve chores, and track savings goals.
Before you start
Morgenrutine doesn't move real money — the app only tracks a digital balance. The physical payout happens outside the app, and you mark it afterwards with “Pay out”.
Step by step
- Set a base amount (optional)
Under Settings → Chores & Pocket Money, set an amount and frequency per child — weekly or monthly. Set it to 0 if pocket money should only come from chores.
- Approve pending chores
Go to Pocket money → Approvals, and approve or dismiss chores that require a parent's approval.
- Record payouts
Click “Pay out” on the child's wallet card when the real money changes hands.
Savings goals
Under Pocket money → [child] → Savings, your child can create a goal with a name, target amount, and optional deadline, and set aside part of their free balance towards it. Progress is shown as a percentage bar, and both child and parent get a notification once the goal is reached.
Good advice
- Set up the base amount and chore amounts together at the start. So your child experiences a consistent, predictable arrangement from day one.
- Use “Pay out” every time money actually changes hands. Otherwise the balance loses touch with reality.
- Start without sibling visibility. Turn it on later under “Visibility between siblings” if you feel your kids would benefit from the friendly competition. The leaderboard shows activity, never amounts.
