In short: go to Settings → Addresses, click “Add address”, give it a name and an address, and save — it's then ready as a shortcut everywhere in the app.
Before you start
Addresses are the family's shared address book — home, school, the sports hall. Create them before you start using Driving and location tags on routines, so the rest of the setup goes faster.
Step by step
- Go to Settings → Addresses
The page shows the “Family addresses” section.
- Click “Add address”
Give the address a short, recognisable name — for example “Home”, “School”, or “Sports hall”.
- Search for and choose the address
The address is automatically geocoded to coordinates in the background.
- Click Save
The address is now available as a shortcut everywhere in the app where a location can be set.
Good advice
- Give addresses short, distinct names. It's the name that shows up in shortcut lists, not the street address itself.
- Create the addresses first. Then they're automatically suggested next time you create a driving trip or a routine with a place attached.
- Deleting one doesn't affect what's already used. Remove an address, and existing routines or trips keep their own saved coordinates.
If an address is missing
Check these two things:
- Is the address saved under Settings → Addresses, and not just typed directly into a single routine or trip?
- Are you logged in with the account the address was created under?
