In short: click the notepad icon next to a family member on the Settings → Family page, write the text, and save.
Before you start
No setup needed. Notes open directly from the family member's row under Settings → Family, and are kept separate from the routines and planning.
Step by step
- Go to Settings → Family
Find the family member the note should be about.
- Click the notepad icon
Write the text in the field at the top. The date defaults to today, but can be changed.
- Save the note
It's placed at the top of the chronological list of the person's notes.
Edit, archive, and duplicate
- The pencil icon edits the text or date on an existing note.
- The archive icon moves a note out of the active list without deleting it permanently — it can always be brought back.
- The copy icon creates a new note starting from the same text, handy for recurring observations.
- The bin icon deletes a note permanently — this can't be undone.
Good advice
- Use notes for what doesn't fit into a routine or an appointment. Observations and reminders you'll want to look up again later.
- Archive rather than delete. If you're unsure whether a note might be relevant again, archiving is the safe choice.
