In short: enter your email on the login page, get the code from your inbox, and enter it — or log in directly with Google.
Before you start
There's no password stored in Morgenrutine at all — only login tokens for the methods you've used. If your email doesn't exist in the system yet, a new user is created automatically as part of this flow.
Step by step
- Enter your email address
Click “Send code / Continue” on the login page.
- Get the code from your email
The code is valid for 30 minutes — a countdown is shown on screen. Check your spam folder if it doesn't show up right away.
- Enter the code and click “Log in”
If the code is wrong or expired, you can ask for a new one.
Alternatively, click “Log in with Google” on the login page, choose your Google account, and you're logged in right away — no email code needed.
What it looks like on iOS
iOS supports the same email code and Google login as the web app, plus Log in with Apple. Apple login isn't available in the web app yet — use email code or Google there.
Good advice
- Use Google login if you're already signed in on the browser. It's faster than waiting for an email code.
- Have new family members create their own user first. Morgenrutine requires the person to already exist as a user before an invitation can be sent to their email.
- Change name and language under Settings → Profile. Separate from the account page, which handles login and Google Calendar.
If the code doesn't work
Check these three things in order:
- Was the code entered within the 30 minutes it's valid?
- Check it for spaces or typos.
- Is the email sitting in your spam folder?
Still no luck? Ask for a new code, or write to us.
